A compilation of the work I did on Descend, from the time that it was a demo reel project for graduation to launching it on Kickstarter.
The work I did was focused on rigging characters and creatures, editing motion capture data for animations and creating new animations to cover what we didn't have covered by motion capture, and other extra tasks when needed. While it was a demo reel project I contributed to designing and modeling the Player Character Faye and her mount Chia; The revisions of Faye's character design and modelling would be taken over by Sanjana Bhave: (https://www.artstation.com/sanjana_b).
While the Kickstarter campaign was unsuccessful the Team moved on to get work experience in the industry some of us still work on it in our free time and do plan on one day finishing this project.

The idle animation is an edited version of animation given to me by an instructor from school and the run animation was hand done over 3 days.
Chia's Control Rig
A clip from the trailer made for our graduation trailer of Descend using the original design for Faye recorded in UE4. I spent about 3 days doing the animations for both Chia and Faye.

As Faye's animations were mostly edited motion capture data so I only used the automatically generated control rig provided in Maya.
